Well, in about 5 minutes I’m going to start the guest list, for the ceremony and for the reception. I also gotta make the engagement announcements, and decide how many wedding announcements to order.
I picked out my bouquet today, and also all of my center pieces for the tables. Hey, it’s a small start, but it’s a start. Of course, I’ve got to figure out where I’m having the ceremony still. But I gotta go a step at a time.
Ok, everybody cross your fingers. I’m going to ask my grandmother to sew the bride’s maid’s dresses. I really need her to say yes, but she’s odd, and she might say no.
Oh Pepper, I am so excited for you. Planning my wedding was so much fun for me, I hope you have a blast too. Your colors sound beautiful! When are you going for your dress? I am so happy for you two!

Ah, I see. Feats of amazing organisational skill tend to frighten me.
In my book, you’re doing good. This is because my parents had a very small wedding, and they have a great marriage (27 years). Therefore, the two things have got linked in my mind. I’m sure plenty of people have huge weddings without any problem; but, for me, small hassle-free wedding and happy ever after are linked.
If you have any tips on organising a small hassle-free wedding, could you pass them on as you go along?
