Anybody pick this up for the DS?
I’m having trouble keeping the damn thing inside the GBA socket…about every third song I shift badly and it jiggles out. Haven’t quite got the hang of the grip.
The songs are good, the gameplay is familiar, once I figure dout how to angle things so I can see the status screen while keeping an eye on the notes, things got better.
They definitely got the feel of the original down.
It’ll definitely tide me over until Aerosmith.
I don’t know if I’ll get it. There are a LOT of songs that impress me, or worse, I flat out hate.

It does tend to pop out, I don’t know why the external control doesn’t clip on the top edge of the DS, seems like it could have been easily done. Was it supposed to come with paper skins, or are we expected to make our own to lay inside the clear plastic?
It’s a lot of fun, but maybe should have been called Concertina Hero, instead…
Oh Christ, yeah. I’m the type of guy who scoffs at warnings (especially since every DS game comes with that huge booklet of DANGER!), but it didn’t take long for me to start understanding what they meant when they said keep a straight wrist.
Just got it. Just played one song.

I’ll keep trying, but something is definitely lost when one isn’t holding something that feels at least something like a real guitar. You definitely don’t get the “Whee! I’m a rock star!” vibe you get from regular Guitar Hero.
