So, they get kicked out of the gun range for being irresponsible with their gun, then they get to go out and walk around on the street with it? If you don’t want them on your gun range, why would I want them on my street?
They don’t count because they aren’t responsible gun owners. Besides, there are plenty of laws to cover those people, so we don’t need any more. Just as soon as they shoot somebody, they are going to be in a lot of trouble! Because you better believe that’s a paddlin’!
Just “stand your ground” you’ll be fine.
I’m not a “stand your ground” kind of guy. More of a “cry like a little girl and beg mercy” kind of guy.
Yeah, call me “lucky” but I’ve survived just about a half century without any shootouts, and I haven’t needed to brandish anything but my own lovable personality. ![]()
I’ve been robbed, mugged. At gunpoint, twice. Know what? The guys that did that to me are most likely dead. Or in prison, or in the sweet spot of transition from one to the other. I don’t need vengeance, what could I possibly do to them worse than what they do to themselves?
There was this maybe homeless guy who was definitely mentally not all there who was crawling around my back deck. I confronted him a couple times and managed to call the cops one night when I saw him loitering around. He was long gone by the time the cop showed up. I was really mad at this guy. I thought, “maybe I should have a gun and shoot this fucker.” Then I thought, “holy shit! What if I did?” I was actually a bit tremble-y about it. The guy grabbed some stuff of the deck, but was that worth shooting the guy? I’d have been devastated if I actually did. I don’t need that on my conscience.
Odds are, if someone bursts into my home armed and willing to kill, it’s probably the local SWAT team and I’m doomed anyway.
“Wait, this is 1725 Maple Drive? Oh. Sorry about that…”
Better yet, see this. No, an armed society is not a polite society.
I wonder how many more people were victimized by your same perpetrators after you cried like a little girl in front of them.
Oh, probably the same number of mass shootings you’ve stopped with your big ol’ guns.
Not a mass shooting but I stopped a home invader once. He ended up in the mental hospital, after he got discharged from the real hospital.
You really think Elucidators robbers retired after they finished with him?
Oh that one’s my favorite work of fiction! Next, tell about the one time at band camp when you stuck the flute up your pussy.
Are you suggesting that they killed him? Because, well…
Why do you doubt?
I’m suggesting Elucidator wasn’t their last victim. You think they were?
Because you’re you?
What, did the arm wound you laid on your 2x4 intruder set him straight?
You’re projecting Hentor. Not everyone is a rolls over and plays victim.
I do believe it shattered his elbow, I think that put an end to his assault and battery days. Anyway you seem to be sidestepping the point regarding Elucidator’s attackers. Do you think they retired from their lives of crime after him, or is it more probable they attacked others?

You’re projecting Hentor. Not everyone is a rolls over and plays victim. [/quite]No, some of us fantasize about vanquishing 2x4 assailants.
I have no idea. How many times per year do dgu’s end up with a dead attacker?
You know what though - I’m tired of engaging with gunbeciles. You know what I think of you. I no longer care to watch your strokefest. Via con feces, you rough customer.
Is that what you do?
Venture a guess, or does that ruin your sides argument.
I think the number killed is in the hundreds. Wounded and/or caught I’m not sure because those cases don’t make the statistics so much. As you know, I wounded mine and held him until the cops came.
That’s only because you’re not very good at it. Anyway I’m reckon your liberal heart bleeds more for the perpetrators anyway.
Just what I said, I think they are most likely dead, or in prison. If, by some blessing, they straightened up and flew right, how could I be displeased about that?
I should have been armed? And the do my quick draw on him, clear my holster and put a couple of rounds in him before he can react? When I say I have the reflexes of a cat, I mean curling up in the sun and falling asleep. The Ringo Kid, I am not.
Besides which, I wouldn’t kill somebody to take their twenty dollars, why would I kill somebody to keep mine?
