Inspired by the toilet seat poll, let’s find out how many guys pee like a girl!
(I almost always sit down to pee if I get up at night, or early in the morning)

Both. But not during the same act… that would be weird. 
When my daughters were at the pottty-training age, I peed sitting down. After all, this was no time to be confusing anyone in terms of technique.
Middle of the night, no lights: sitting.
Kayaking, using a jug or other receptacle: sitting.
Writing name in snow: standing.
All else is on a case by case basis.
If I’m using the upstairs bathroom, the toilet’s right next to the tub, which has a white shower curtain on it. To avoid getting splatters on the side of the tub or curtain, I sit.
If I’m using the downstairs bathroom, I splatter away.
Public toilets, always standing.
I answered “about equally” in the poll.
If there’s a urinal around I stand. Public toilets disgust me anyway, so I’ll wait for the urinal if it’s occupied. At home I often sit because it’s a small house and sitting is less noisy.
I only sit to pee when I am sitting for another purpose also
After my back surgery, I have to sit.
My doctor doesn’t want me lifting anything heavy by myself!

I consider a bathroom break a “break”, so I sit. Always. Standing up to pee is work.
When I was growing up, we never had more than two bathrooms in the house, and one was always Mom’s bathroom. With three boys in the house, the rule was “you SIT in Mom’s bathroom!” I got used to that.
Public toilets: I sit in a stall; I like the privacy.
At home: I usually stand.
I will never sit to pee. I believe it is unmanly and unseemly.

I pee sitting down. I’m disabled, not too steady on my feet. Sitting avoids streams of urine everywhere.
I sit when I have to pee in the middle of the night, so I don’t have to turn the light on.
Yeah, and with morning wood it helps it to go into the toilet instead of the medicine cabinet.
I don’t understand this poll. The possible answers should have been “yes” and “I’m not a guy”. I kid, I kid (but not really).
The only time I ever take a piss while sitting is if I just got done sitting to take a dump.
In the middle of the night, yes, sitting is much more convenient.

When I get up at three or four in the morning, I’m not thinking about aim or even if the lid is up, so it’s best if I just sit down.
