I totally agree with all actresses being unattractive. The one exception is[url=http://www.pameladennis.com/images/sandra%20bullock.jpgSandra Bullock, who is not gorgeous but is pretty; she definitely has good and bad angles, but overall cute. There are literally zero pictures of Claire Danes where I think she’s anything more than quirkily decent-looking. Clearly it’s just me, though.
She used to go out with geeky Australian musician Ben Lee, and I used to think “How can someone so nerdy get a hot Hollywood chick like Claire Danes?” Well, she’s now going out with a more traditionally hunky guy, so that dashes my hopes about geekiness being seen as attractive, once more.
I hope that those of you that think Claire looks like a guy in drag think the same of Cameron Diaz. Sometimes she looks like an awkward teenage boy. I was actually comparing pics of her to those of Viggo Mortensen today. None matched really well, but there’s some guy out there that looks like her. I guess I might be crazy.
I think she’s ugly too, but somehow sexy, unlike Danes, who I find totally unappetizing. I do like Diaz as an actress too, not as much as I like Danes, but her nose/mouth combination is weird and kinda squicky.
I don’t want to give the impression I think everyone is ugly. I’ve noticed a trend in that I seem to prefer brunette women to blondes, and rounder, softer faces and fuller lips to the angular, pointy faces with the wide, thin lips. But it’s all academic because I’m straight, so it’s strictly aesthetics for me. Ah well.

Claire: she’s the artsy girl next door. I think most folks know someone at least twice as attractive as she is.

Oh, I dunno. Like many here I’ve always found her more “pretty” than “hot.” I’m generally not overly fond of skinny actresses, but she at least seems naturally so - i.e. more coltish than Hollywood anorexic.
But many of those recent photos are less flattering. Poking around I think it might be because her face looks gaunter now than when she was younger. Maybe. At least that’s the impression I get looking at these IMHO slightly more flattering shots ( two from movies where one would assume she’s carefully groomed and one fairly obviously air-brushed, but still ) :

But even at her worst I wouldn’t call her “ugly”. I generally reserve that for someone who is pretty formidably unattractive. For example I wouldn’t put any of the actors posted in that list above in that category. Maybe only Clea DeVall ever came close for me, as I once considered her a bit rodent-like. But even she grew on me watching Carnivale.

I think she’s attractive. She reminds me an awful lot of Matt Damon, though.
I’ve always thought she was beautiful, which is not necessarily the same as hot. Beautiful is (insofar as that’s possible) an aesthetic appreciation, while hot is clearly sexual. I’ve thought that since I saw her in “Romeo and Juliet” and none of these pictures has caused me to revise that opinion. She doesn’t exude raw sexuality in the way that, for example, Monica Bellucci does, but she definitely is attractive. Maybe it’s the whole girl-next-door image; makes her that much more appealing to me.
She’s alright, I guess. Cute. Pretty. Not really my type, or what I’d personally call really “hot,” but I could readily understand if someone else thought so.
I mean, I’ve seen a hell of a lot worse. I’ve seen a lot worse that was supposedly a lot hotter.

Tori Spelling is a special case. The others might be considered reasonably attractive depending on your personal preferences, but Tori Spelling (and she might be the nicest person in the world) really is very plain. The tight & bulging breast implants she jammed into her bone thin frame makes her more freakish than sexy.
But all that is beside the point even though her parents are angry with her lastest project as she has found true love.
Skanky? Claire Danes? Really? I don’t see that at all.
She may not be “hot” when compared to a supermodel, but I think that she’s very attractive in a girl-next-door kind of way.
