Yes this is one of the party-girl daughters with fake IDs.
I’m going to check CSPAN really carefullt over the next few months, to see if she shows up on their book programming. I wanna watch to make sure she’s at least familiar with the material.
Yes it’s unfair of me to assume there was a ghost writer, but whaddyagonnado? Pardon my skepticism, and I will certainly apologise if shown to be wrong.
Anyway, it’s much more fun if this is a put-up job and she can’t even answer questions about the plot.
However lets be honest, think way way back to highschool. Remember all those REALLY REALLY bad stories you were forced to read by your classmates? Do you really think 3 years of college is going to change shit writting into gold? Yeah thats why most people who get published are in their late 20’s to mid 30’s when they get their first book deal. Writings not easy and it takes a few years of trying really really hard for 99.9% of people to get good enough to think about submiting a crap plup fiction novel.
So yeah, a 20 year old known for partying non-stop just 2 years ago is going to send up a red flag in my book if she’s publishing a novel.
Oh and I hate her anyway! damnit I’m not even published yet and this wanker gets over cause daddy is “the most powerfull man in the world” I HATE THEM ALL!!
stupid lucky rich kid getting published when I the much better writer get daily insults from my boss on my writing skills that he palms off as his own!
According to your article, she’s spent the 18 months or so working in Panama with UNICEF. It is possible that she’s had at least some contact with the great unwashed masses.
No - it says she spent 18 months in DC before doing an unspecified duration internship in Panama that could have begun no earlier than Aug 2006, when she was in Washington. But good on her for volunteering.
I dunno. It just seems like one of those odd rants to me. She’s being pitted for doing something good. At least her dad has to mispronounce something before he’s pitted.
Which is why I corrected myself on preview. I get it now. You’re criticizing her book. Or her work. Or her past. Or something. No sweat. I could open a similar thread on, say, Barbra Streisand for her relationship with Bobby Fischer.
