But this thread is evidence of an intersting dynamic on this board. You make a post that goes against the collective mindset, and not only do 100 people jump in to call you stupid, but with some weirdly heightened vitriol. It’s not like I said the Holocaust never happened, I said I don’t agree with one aspect in the life of a famous person who wouldn’t spit on me if she walked by. And probably 2 of the 100 even give a shit about Oprah, its just here’s achance to show how smart I am, or witty or whatever.
Add to that posters like** miller** who exposed himself as a chickenshit by railing on me for my comments, and then when Dio at least partially agreed with my sentiments what did he do? He then asked Dio a question with no venom, very politely, full of repsect- and why? Because he’s too gutless to do battle with Dio, who would rip him another asshole (I don’t blame him though, I wouldn’t want to battle him either.) Point being, same “crazy” view, two different posters, one gets five pages of assualt, the other polite respect.

At work my sup watches at the same time I’m on lunch. She’s a huge fan, so I can be an asshole and ask her to turn from a show she loves, or I can tolerate it, or I can sit in the car for an hour. Being a tolerant person (rare in this post), I watch it while making snide comments- about her weight, her being in the closet, etc.
