Hair by Mozie

My oldest daughter did not have much of an academic temperament, and when she graduated from High School she said she wanted to go to Cosmetology School. I was not really excited about this and had visions of her working long hours in a mall hair salon for minimum wage.

I was wrong. She has spent the last 17 years working in a rather upscale salon, and makes a really good living.

The owner of the salon is closing the business. My daughter gathered up all of her client information, found a space and is going into business for herself. She has a tax number, and has organized as an LLC and will open her own business in three weeks.

I am incredibly proud of her.

Congratulations to her! Best wishes for a successful transition.

Good for her!

Wonderful, I hope she has huge success!

So glad that she followed her passion despite your misgivings. Congrats to her for having the will to find her niche!

So longhair75 didn’t think a career cutting hair was the best way to make a good living. Whodathunkit?

Friend Spiderman, she even cut my hair…

Has she come up with a name for the business? There are so many punny/cute/other names out there…

Hair by Mozie is her new business name.

Ahhh, hence the thread title. OK.

Better than A Cut Above, Snip’n Time, The Hairport, etc.
