i am looking into getting a Brazilian type hair treatment (i am male). anyone know if you can do that now with laser hair removal? scrotum included. i know waxing is painful and i don’t know if i can handle it. even though my wife gets it done once a month. gotta hand it to her.

Never been waxed “down there.” But I’ve done waxing elsewhere. Media depictions are exaggerated for comedic effect. But given the looseness of skin there, I’m not sure that is a good candidate location, certainly not for the first time.
Lasers are like getting pinged by a rubber band, 100 times in rapid succession. Not too horrific. But it gets old quick. It ain’t cheap. And it usually takes 3+ goes to get it all.
If you do get it done, report back. I would be interested to hear your experience.
I’ve considered this too, but am a little anxious about how much it will hurt. I’m getting tired of shaving my balls every couple of days when the hair starts to get prickly. I think you should take one for the team, get it done, and report back. You know, for science.
well after some research i have discovered a place that does laser hair removal for men. probably going this route. more expensive but more permanent.
FWIW I’ve trief IPL for permanent hair removal, sometimes also described as laser. It does indeed feel like little pings, but (for lack of balls) I can’t tell you how bad it would be on balls. It’s definitely bearable on lady-parts. The only thing is: it takes many, many treatments to get rid of all hair permanently. With IPL it’s not three, more like 50.
yea this is going to be 6 treatments. i can handle that. and i am quite confident i can handle the laser. i am pretty tough down there! just probably not tough enough for the wax
A few years ago, Graham Norton had a segment on his UK chat show in which he did remote segments. One such segment featured a really hairy guy who was going for a wax job; back, crack and sack, as they put it. He thought the presence of the camera and audience would keep him from chickening out. So the guy was on a table on all fours as the camera mostly stayed on his face. There was a very nice, very professional woman who was narrating as she performed the wax job. I particularly remember one moment when she removed the hair from either his scrotum or his taint (the camera was discreet, so we didn’t get too up close and personal). Up until this time, he had been looking at the camera and talking through the procedure. But at that moment, he had his head down, and the only thing he could do was give a thumbs up signal that he was OK.
It was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen.
fortunately i found a woman that will do it. don’t think i can handle a man doing it.
appointment set for Friday. i will let you know how it goes. she told me i have to shave as close as possible first! that should be interesting on my “boys” area…
interestingly, she told me to don’t have too much caffeine. i wonder why.
well i had the first session and now i know why i had to shave first. the hair goes up in smoke! the process was nothing. very cold air (32degrees) used directly on area targeted by laser. i could barely even feel the laser because of the cold air. started to get numb down there but it was nothing compared to what i was expecting.

sure, while it is not cheap, if you were to compare to continual waxing (not to mention the pain there) it is not bad.
normal treatments are 240/per. i bought 6 sessions for 860.00. probably could find it a bit cheaper but this isn’t something i would want to scrimp on. this person was extremely knowledgeable, very professional and a very calming person considering the work being done.
i find it interesting that she said she does many men and almost all are late 30s and older. one being 60! even the women she does are older. my wife said her waxer told her the same thing.
So what all area(s) gets done with the treatments you are paying for?
I’m guessing not many 20 year olds have nearly a grand in disposable income to spend on laser hair removal. With age (and income) comes privileges.

yes, i am sure it isn’t for everyone. i have tried it out before shaving and for me the pleasure experienced with my wife when we are both bare makes it worth it. definitely enhances sex. and she has a new found fetish (and i aint complaining) of putting my boys in her mouth but always has to contend with hair. not any more.
Oh yeah I’ve definitely been a regular shaver and gone completely hair free in the past. I prefer more of a very close trim on the pubic area, and then a complete shave on the stuff below and to the back. I agree that oral sex is generally a lot nicer when there’s less hair to contend with. Good for you and your wife!
when i tried the shaving it was good for one time and then just the slightest bit of stubble caused her discomfort so that was disallowed. this was actually her idea. well she suggested me getting waxed. luckily i found this. i don’t think i could handle that. when i am done she is going to most likely get this done so she doesn’t have to get waxed every month.
