This story in this morning’s paper caught my eye.
Why would the demand for human hair be especially high in Brazil? Do Brazilians have a higher than average rate of wig wearing?

That is odd. I thought that shaving & waxing was the rage down there.
The Ms. Kuboydal and I were perusing Scientific American last night and saw a photo of a woman with two kids walking through a shantytown. Althugh we could not see their faces, we both knew that the family was Brazilian, and it was the hair that gave it away. They all had rich chocolatey skin with red undertones and long, slightly wavy ultra black glossy hair.
The global contributions to the genetics of Brazil have created a beautiful populace.
I heard a long time ago that the hair extensions/braids/etc. that are made with real black hair are farmed out to Korea (possibly UL). Maybe this is the same thing?
