Hmm, looks like a Cornish Rex, which is not a hairless breed BTW. My folks had an adult male but I’ve never seen a kitten. Short, silky, wavy fur that lays very close to the skin giving the impression of hairlessness. Bizarre uncatlike bahavior but that may have just have been him. He seemed far more sent oriented than visual. he came to be quite affectionate while my folks had him so I see the kitten as more cute than terrifying.
That kitten looks precious. I will have to get one when I find a bigger place.

Mother cats trim down the whiskers on their kittens so they don’t get poked by them when the kittens feed.
With the skin colour… I know a few species of cat have patches of blue skin…

I think it’s adorable. (I’m a cat person, can you tell?). My brother thinks it’s kinda cute, my sister thinks it’s disgusting.
Is that breed of cat particularily uncommon?
Anyone interested the naked mole rat should watch Fast, Cheap, and Out of Control, a documentary by Errol Morris (who made A Brief History of Time). It’s composed of extended interviews with four people: a topiarist, a robot specialist, a lion tamer, and a guy who is apparently the world’s leading expert on the naked mole rat.
Very strange movie.
