I just received an email with a video clip from Fox Sports News of a guy proposing to a girl named Kathy during the half-time of a Washington Wizards basketball game.
She thought she had been picked from the audience to participate in being blindfolded and trying to find the mascot in centre court.
When she found him, the mascot took off the head of his costume, and it was this guy, who knelt down and asked her to marry him.
She turned him down by covering her face in her hands and running off the court.
OUCH!!
So now my friends and I are curious about the story behind this - does anyone know?
