I’m not sure what this line means, but the scene had people hanging off of trucks, and not just at the end.
The hillside getaway scene at the beginning of Jackie Chan’s Police Story deserves a vote, IMO.
Fruitcart? Hell, they levelled the entire town!
This was good, though (and correct me if I’m misremembering) the cable car blows up after being derailed.
There is not a damn thing on a cable car that could catch fire so quickly, much less explode, save maybe a bit of lubricant in the gears underneath.
And I have to say I’m disappointed that Blues Brothers 2000 surpassed the original, since it was so bad. (And it didn’t @#$%ing come out in 2000, neither!)
Well, yeah, but only the non-flying ones, and they jumped back on top of the truck eventually.
SHAME for The Bourne Supremacy. Unlike Bond, the Bourne films are supposed to be taking place in our real world. So when Bourne and the guy chasing him both commandeer ordinary cars and smash into other cars - the air bags should go off and end the chase right then and there.
I have not seen the movie. Airbags are designed to deploy during frontal crashes only (not talking about side impact bags). If it wasn’t a frontal then it might not have been unrealistic. I’ll let you know once I see the movie.
Well, I enjoyed The Bourne Supremacy. There, I said it. As for the airbag issue, while the bad guy’s 4x4 would have probably had an airbag, I am fairly certain that the battered old Russian taxi Bourne was driving would not!
What comes next is one the best funny chase scenes in film, for that is a line from Rasing Arizona.
