I’m sure if Halliburton went the way of all flesh it would have an effect on the Veep’s compensation. Still, the point remains that like Caeser’s wife the Veep should not only be above reproach, he should appear above reproach.

How can you insinuate he’s not being above reproach in this matter when the bribes were paid by some entry level manager one and two years after he left? He had control over that how?
