My son decided to be Indiana Jones, so my wife has been scrounging up pieces at Goodwill. This is what she has so far. Just need to add a whip and satchel, and those are on the way.

I went to an Alice In Wonderland-themed party this weekend. For the first time in all my 31 years, I finally had a good costume, suited perfectly for a woman of my stature. And hair.

I’m going to out-do myself, I hope. I paid way too much and it was hung up in customs but its all set.

For taking the kids out trick or treating, I will be dressed as a cowgirl. I have the boots, hat, jeans and shirt, I just need a fake lasso or something like it. One of my friends has the horse head on a stick.

We’re going as the Doctor and his Companions. My two-year-old has been calling himself “The Doctor” and me Amy and his baby brother Rory (which creates all sorts of cognitive dissonance) so we’re going to run with it. We’ve got a sonic screwdriver-shaped flashlight, I’ll put suspenders and a bow tie on Gnat, and I’ll wear a short skirt and leave my hair down.
I’m thinking about making a little Cyberman headpiece for the baby.
