My father’s birthday is coming up soon, and I’m looking to purchase him a few cans of Ham & Lima Beans (Ham & Motherfuckers) for a gag* gift.
I’ve searched E-bay, and through google, and I’m just not seeing anything.
Does anyone have an idea as to where I could get hold of a can? These aren’t for consumption (especially not by him), but just so he can throw them in the lake and not NEED to eat them 
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

In October 1969 we had gone three days without being resupplied and were told we would have to walk back to LZ Ross (19 kilicks when it was raining an inch an hour) if we wanted to eat in the next few days. I hadn’t eaten for over two days already but had put away a can of ham and motherfuckers in my pack just in case. When we got to Ross I still had the can with me, nowhere near that hungry yet.
A friend of mine who stayed in the Marine Corps told me that the last cases of C-rations the Corps had were destroyed in the mid 80’s.
If you find some let me know. I’d like to buy a case for myself.

*Gag being the operative word. Dad tells a story about how once, while in Vietnam, he gave all the Marines under his command (He was platoon sergeant) the choicer c-rats. He took nothing but his hated Ham & Lima Beans for himself, save for ONE can of Pound Cake, I believe it was.
One day, several days into the bush, his can of cake was either stolen by a young kid while in a village. Still, in his eyes, I can see incredulousness, anger and frustration all melding into “I’d have killed that Kid, I swear I would have, if I could have only got my hands on him.” He laughs about now, which made me think it’s time to kid with him.
I have, at this time, only found websites that will sell reproduction labels with which you can make your own cans.

Mr.C. My dad was the only Marine in history I think that actually liked ham and motherfuckers. He ate well in Nam. I joined the service when MRE’s (3 lies for the price of one) where in infancy. I’ve eaten ham and motherfuckers… That is a nasty gag gift. Brilliant, but nasty!!!.. I’m not sure if you could find them now… That can of shit earned it’s named for a reason.
If I could help you, I would, and can if I find something. But even as godawfull as they were, I don’t think you’ll find a can these days. It’s not something I think anyone in the world thought of saving. Somewhat along the line of the MRE pork patty.
