Hanging a wreath on vinyl siding

Is there some way to do this, without driving a nail through the siding, which I know is a no-no. Is there any sort of apparatus made to allow you to do this sort of thing. Barring that, any work arounds? I want to hang a lighted wreath on my chimney, which is covered with vinyl siding.

Thanks.

You can insert a flat hook between two runs of the siding.
Here’s a picture of a commercial siding hook.
It’d probably be easier and quicker to make one out of an old coffee can than to order the piece on line.

Aha! Great thanks. I knew there had to be something out there to do this with.

How cold is it getting in Georgia? Command hooks can be applied if it’s 50 degrees or more…and I think they will work on siding although it’s not explicitly stated.

Right now we aren’t hitting 50 for a daytime high, so I’m betting between that cold temp and the surface warmth that would happen when the sun is out, one of those would fail by the second or third day. Not a bad idea though.

Assuming the wreath isn’t too terribly, heavy, just clean the siding off, dry it, and use something like this:

Whoops, I see that was already suggested and I added an extra comma too. But I had a hook like that on my door and it was still firmly attached at the end of winter when I took it off.
