Huh. I never read the books. I only started to watch because I’m a fan of Caroline Dhavernas and, to a lesser degree, Hugh Dancy.
I think this season is great. Loving it.

So how did Hannibal and Will magically get transported from Florence to wherever in the States Verger is? Or is that just yet another piece of missing plot that we are just supposed to not ask questions about for some reason?
I don’t know who is playing Verger but he sounds exactly like Gary Oldman. Well done to him.
I’ll bet there will be some flashbacks in the next episode to show how Verger got them.
Jack should have known better and had his guard up.
Loved the scene with Will and Hannibal in the museum.
I suppose, but it really wasn’t very well handled. No doubt the showrunners were thinking something like 'This quick change will really DAZZLE the viewers!!1!!!'— but (in my view) they failed to pull it off.
And, yeah, Jack was laughably–and implausibly–inept, in his approach to entering that room.
