Excuse me. I meant to do this a few days ago, but my life sort of blew up.

Ladies, gentlemen, and the rest of you Dopers, our own Rico has now spent the past 5 years of his life hanging around this place, singing bad 80’s songs, and generally being a nuisance. :wink: Here’s to you, Rico, and to many more years to come!

In his honor, may I ask that people post a bar or three of their favorite bad 80’s song? (No more, please! The mods have enough to do!)

With one exception.

I am apparently older than you think I am.

While I can name just about any 80’s era song (like the one you quoted, Matthew Wilder’s Break My Stride, 1985), I am more comfortable with late 60s through late 70’s songs.

Yes, I know that includes Disco. I was involved in the last gasp of Disco, 1979, KSET/El Paso, TX - KSET Disco 95.
