Happy 15th, Aslan. Hope you have another happy 15, and another few happy 15s after that.
15!!! Damn… I have T-Shirts older than you.
Happy birthday, and have a good year!
You’re just lucky we can’t give you the bumps
Looking forward to the full account of what you got up to on your birthday, prezzies received, and all the rest of the jazz, Aslan.
Aslan, one of my bestest board buddies: Yay! Turn off your freaking away message so I can talk to you.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Woke up at 11, was tired because I couldn’t sleep for quite a while that night. My mother gave me Diablo II and its expansion, both computer games. My brother got me C.S. Lewis’ Space Trilogy(Out Of The Silent Planet, Perelandra, That Hideous Strength). Great stuff, as I’ve been wanting to play D2 for quite a while, and I’ve been interested in getting the non-narnia C.S. Lewis books.
It went nicely. No feeling depressed as I usually do when it’s my birthday. We went to a mexican restaraunt, Bichos taste of Mexican. Seems like the only place in the lower mainland that serves mexican food that’s not Taco Bell. The food was great, I certainly won’t be going back to Taco Bell or any of that processed stuff.
My Aunt Sarita had flown in from Los Angeles to vist for Thanksgiving(when do you hae Turkey Day, mate?). She was auditioning for a role in Mission Impossible 3. That was cool, because I’ve only meet her once before, briefly and several years ago. After this, she’ll be flying to New York.
I got a MP3 player. It came with headphones, 120MB of space, ripping software, a USB cable(for importing music), and a cable connector for Car Cassete players.
I went walking on the docks near the restaraunt. It was rainy and wet, my favourite type of weather. About 7 miles from the dock was Vancouver Island. It was quite beautiful, even in the mist.
My dad got me a new computer. It’s about double in terms of specs for all the various computers I have. It’s going to be hooked up to the internet soon, and after that, networked to another one of my computers(this is at my dad’s house, with two. At my mother’s I just have the one I use normally for SDMB and other things).
I rather wish I had a laptop, so I could write this as it comes, make it much more interesting than this. Oh well, I can work towards it. I’ll be going to talk to the counsellors on tuesday about a job.
I would if I could. My father’s PC is majorly messed up. It works fine for a sparse few, such as Internet and AIM, but when I try to use other stuff it screws up. AIM got deleted, I tried to reinstall but it was giving me 404s.
We don’t have Thanksgiving Day here in New Zealand, Aslan, nor does Australia.
Happy birthday Aslan. Good luck with all that.
