October 23rd, 2001 was the launch of the iPod. I can’t believe how much time I’ve spent with this device. Prior to the iPod, to listen to mp3s, I had to burn them to a CD-R and then play the disc on some of the mp3 disc players that were available in the early 2000s.
Now, with a tiny device, I can carry around hundreds of hours of music, audiobooks, and podcasts. I don’t have to carry around a huge CD wallet any longer.
I’m a huge podcast fan. I download quite a few and spend hours listening to them. Listening to podcasts makes doing household chores and exercise more enjoyable.
