And the newbie gets her ibook & umax scanner finally configed. I’ve had it 8 days, my tech headed friend came by and sorted it all out for me. Let’s all happy dance !!! I was so tormented by a scanner that would function but wasn’t going right, not quite anyway. Oh man was I lost, I was getting ready to return the scanner even though it was providing me with hours of amusement.

I have been scanning wildly, I have access to virtually free ink cartridges for the printer so I’m away to the races, my desk is covered with paper and my diningroom is littered with opened photo albums, from which I have extracted every bad snap shot I ever took, which I scan and fix and enlarge and, well, it’s almost too much fun. Wait, I feel it coming over me again…
