Darn near missed it then I ran across this article [Slate(Happy Darwin Day!). It was actually a week ago but then I’m always a bit behind the rest of the world. By the way, how should one dress and celebrate on that esteemed day?
I’ve personalized my Google news site so that it shows a few human evolution stories. The creationist tend to put out a lot of misleading pseudo-scientific articles that seek to debunk anything related to evolution.

I was going to celebrate, but my day evolved differently.

I just made a facebook post – Happy birthday, Charles Darwin! Giving those of us who know the definition of the word “theory” people to point and laugh at for 154 years…. It didn’t get the reaction I had hoped for. A couple of likes, but it was also there as trollbait for the couple of serious fundy friends I have. None of them bit.
If I had known I would have been tempted to give beer and McDonald’s gift cards to some of my more annoying relatives.
