I was reading my alumni magazine and some guy from the class of '62 has a new baby! Well, his wife had it, but still. My father, class of '65, just shakes his head.
Good heavens, yes.
By coincidence, yesterday was not only Father’s Day, but the anniversary of the day I became a father, the day my son arrived off the plane from Korea. Which means this happened, twenty years ago today.
Twenty years? How did that happen?
Regards,
Shodan
My only regret is not starting sooner.
No doubt about it – The Littlest Briston, while not sunshine and roses 100% of the time, still brings an unreal amount of joy and laughter into my life. I love that kid, and know my life would be poorer without her.
Absolutely. They’re both grown now (and both in Europe, though the younger one wished me Happy Father’s Day on Skype.) They both turned out great. I’m not sure I’d want to do it all over again - but I do miss the snuggly baby phase.
