I made Ivylad sausage gravy and biscuits for breakfast, and as soon as he gets up again (he only slept two hours last night) he gets his present .
I also called my dad and wished him a Happy Father’s Day. We might be going to a wine festival this afternoon, and he asked me to get him a couple of bottles.
To all the dads out there…you the man!
Happy Father’s Day guys! I was thinking about the great Dads I’ve met here - JohnT and his stories about Sophie, and ChinaGuy’s bambinas. I still miss LordVor, he gave great advice.
Probably half of you are fathers and I wouldn’t want to leave anyone out, so instead I’ll just wish all of you a great day with your kids!
Happy Father’s Day to the fathers out there. The “dad” in our little family got a card, a box of English Toffee from Purdy’s and $50.00 gift certificate to splurge on DVDs. Boy, was the dog tired from all her shopping!
(Well, I got Mother’s Day stuff “from the dog”, so…)
We also cooked him scrambled egg omelette with mushrooms, pepper and green onions, and some sausage and toast. He better be a happy dad today. 
We didn’t make it to the wine festival…Ivylad wasn’t up to it. So he’s been napping on the couch watching the US Open. Apparently, you can do both at the same time.
He really liked the gift…he was thinking about buying it himself, but he didn’t want to spend the money.

I never know what to get my dad so today I spent the morning making my Oh-so-fabulous-want-to die-for homemade salsa that will melt your face off!! My dad will love it 
I am taking some salsa and a bag of super tasty tortilla chips from the local Supermercado (Mexican grocery market) it over to him shortly, after my parents get home from whatever it is they are currently out doing.
