I’ll pretend to take the topic seriously.
I would never try to talk about religion or politics to little kids who came to my door to ask for candy. Not even if the political and religious views I was espousing were reasonable and mild. Either give the kids a packet of Nerds or turn off the lights and pretend you aren’t home.
The only up side to this behavior is that the kids will come back and TP their houses! And good for them when they do.
