Alright, so I realize it’s already the third day, and that hannukah is overblown. But Jews need to feel good this time of the year, too!

Happy Hannukah to you and your family and friends. Former neighbors and I always combine the December holidays and have one big get-together. Had a good time last night. It’s always meant a lot to us to be together as a “family of choice.” Some may scoff at this “y’all come” attitude, but traditions do change, and it’s always great to be able to share what’s important to those you love. My gingerbread menorah was a big hit!
My brother’s best friend is Jewish. He just got a bass guitar. He’s ten.
