I probably ought to do more work on the design of mine. But hey, I have one valve completed, and the valve caps, and the caps fit! That’s progress!

Haven’t played a tuba for a very, very, very long time, and wasn’t any good at it either. But I’ll celebrate anyway.
Yeah, I mentioned it before, I guess you didn’t see that thread. My goal is a tuba that can be made for under $100 in a makerspace (mostly a combination of 3d printing and laser cutting). I’m sure that the quality won’t be the highest, but I think I can at least match the quality of a typical beat-up high school instrument.
I suppose I’ll bring my trusty 1952 Conn CC upright up outta the basement and knock out a couple of fiddle tunes.
