And now, to go scrub my turkey’s back (it is luxuriating in a tepid bath in the sink, after having been in the fridge since Monday)(and it’s still frozen).

I’m the only vegetarian in the house, and I’m the one up keeping this dead bird company.

It struggled mightily, but I woke up imthjckaz and we got that dead bird into the baking bag. It still wasn’t completely thawed, but imthjckaz pried the giblets out.

Can Tripler get e-mail links to the boards?

Well, he probably can get the links, but I don’t know if he can get to the board if he clicks on them. I don’t know if he has internet access, but no time, or if it’s just strictly e-mail through the government. I can check. Though I’d also thought about a major cut and paste of the thread… but that could get a little long. (If that’s what you were thinking)

Good of you & imthjckaz to show that bird whose boss! One of the things I like about being alone on the holidays is not having to fight things like that! :smiley:

Happy thanksgiving Trip…just want to tell you that you aren’t missing much weatherwise here…it’s cold grey and a hint of snow in the air…and it is heading towards Minot. I hope you know that we appreciate what you are doing for all of us over there and I hope to share a beer with you soon Rob.
