What in the world was John Harbaugh thinking when he ran three straight passing plays in the fourth quarter with a 15 point lead and less than 9 minutes left in the game?
(That the Ravens would, if forced to punt, intercept during the next Patriot possession does not count.)
No lead is safe against the Patriots. You gotta be aggressive and keep trying to put more points on the board.
Being conservative in those situations is a good way to blow a lead
I’m tired as heck of seeing the Panthers get a lead and then deciding to run it up the middle every play and just punt it away immediately so the other team can catch up
Because ray rice hasn’t had much success running the ball all game. No reason to think that would change. As it happened, the patriots pass rush showed their first signs of life and actually got to flacco, but the decision itself was fine.
