They don’t smell like farts; they smell like eggs. Rotten eggs smell like farts.
If your eggs smell like farts, they’re not very fresh.
Trivia: volcanos and exploded fireworks also smell like farts.

the ones I’ve been around have smelled like farts. If I’m eating with my cousin at a place with a salad bar, she usually gets a few hard boiled eggs. When she tears into it to take out the yolk it emits a fart-like odor.
Then I guess your farts smell like eggs.

did you ask your cousin what it smelled like? or anyone else? otherwise i agree with so_da_ne.
This means that they’re not-so-great eggs and have probably been overcooked–boiling the eggs for too long will help make the bad smell. If you get good eggs and cook them correctly, there will be no unpleasant smell.
Eggs don’t care what people smell like. They’re very broadminded that way.
Please tell us, that you didn’t tell her that the eggs she was eating, smelled like farts. 
I think I’ve made an ass of myself in this thread.
It just means that you are fortunate enough to be blessed with great smelling farts.
Can you get your farts to smell like roast beef or grilled fish too?
I find they taste better with pepper.
And a salad just ain’t a salad without em.
