I sure hope he wins. Do we know if he has a good chance? Do we know who he’s running against?
This is not new. He ran last time and lost. Actually, he lost the nomination.
In the primary, he came in second, with 25% of the vote, while Sarah Elfreth received 36% of the vote, and went on to win the election against her Republican challenger with 59% of the vote versus his 38% of the vote.
Not entirely sure why this second attempt is noteworthy. As the AOL article linked in the OP states:
This is not Dunn’s first run for Congress. In 2024, he came in second in the Democratic primary for Maryland’s 3rd District, losing to now-Rep. Sarah Elfreth. But the former Capitol Police officer says he is confident he has a path to victory this time around: “If I didn’t think I could win, I wouldn’t be in the race.”
It seems like a nice story, but Elfreth is this incumbent this time around. And he’s trying to unseat someone who is also strongly against ICE.
It’s also creepy that the AOL article comment section seems taken over by right-wingers defending ICE.

Good point, probably.
No one is really keeping track of this activity now, since the Trump cabal benefits from it. But I sincerely doubt there is less of it now than there was in 2016 or 2020.
