How about Neville as HBP?
Why not? I think there is more to Neville than meets even his eye!
So glad there are these books–and so glad I have kids who love them. I would read them anyway, but it’s nice to read them aloud.
He’s generally felt to be impossible. While Jo frequently misleads in her books, stuff on her website has always been considered reliable, and she calls Neville a pureblood there.
Because people writing in other languages had to know for grammatical reasons, Jo had to clarify that it is a prince who is half-blood, as opposed to a prince of half bloods. So a guaranteed pureblood is very unlikely.

Argh. The latest little festive treat in the Room of Requirement has me stumped!
Only read if you don’t mind major puzzle spoilers.
I’ve got three of the riddle answers figured out: Bristol, Blood, and Otter. The others I’m having no luck with. Anyone wanna help me out?

Oops! I had forgotten…
Then I have no idea! Ron is pureblood and Hermione would be Princess (look at me–amazing grasp of the obvious!)…no clue, but glad it’s not Malfoy!
Priam , Mugglenet has all the answers. Have fun.
