Harry Potter movies: Is anyone else disappointed that Lavender Brown is now white?

It’s funny how people can have different first impressions…I always swore in my head Lavendar was the long blond hair, blue eyes, perfect figure type. Basic nightmare for Hermione, in other words. But evidentally the books don’t say either way.

And I always pictured her as a brunette who, while not beautiful, was attractive enough and savvy enough to use what beauty she had. Also, pushy and into cliques and not above stealing someone else’s boyfriend or crush.

Ok, I may be basing her on a girl I knew in HS…

That’s something I’ve always wondered; who writes these things on IMDB? DO they come directly from the film producers or can fans “edit” it?

There’s a process where any registered user can submit any of the data that appears on the page, and that data is ostensibly verified. For cast credits, “somebody” checks the data against the on-screen credit.

Does anyone know if the credit is in the cast listing at the end of the film?

The IMDB credits are marked as verified and are not editable. Anyone with the DVD who can check for sure?
