Has Anyone Ever Heard of this Photographer?

His name is David Bellezzi. He’s mentioned in “Busman’s Honeymoon” by Dorothy L. Sayers (1937) in this context:

H. caught sight of that David Bellezzi photograph of Peter which he dislikes so much, and I asked what she thought of it. She said, “Well, it’s a nice English gentleman, but it isn’t either the lunatic, the lover or the poet, is it?” Agree with her. (Can’t think why I keep the thing about, except to please David.)

Now, Sayers had a habit of name-dropping, so one expects Bellezzi to mean something to readers at the time. The problem is that I’m not finding anything out there about him.

I mean nothing. The only mention is in a bit of fanfiction for"The Professionals":

They’d been on this obbo for six excruciatingly boring days, and except for Doyle’s attempts to be David Bellezzi reincarnated, Bodie had remained singularly unamused. Bodie sighed and dropped the Mayfair onto the dusty floor.

Can anyone provide any details about this guy?
