When I was a practicing Christian about 40 plus years ago, I attended the UMC. I think our local UMC has remained in the fold. I hope the schism doesn’t kill the original church. I found it to be a nice organization, and pretty inclusive even back then. I also hope churches that stay don’t allow groups like mens’ alliance to drag them toward the dark side.
Imagine being that insecure about your masculinity. These men are so vulnerable, really, and they broadcast it far and wide. In their twisted worldview there is no other acceptable way to be a man.
