My Mother in law recieved a package today from a BETA FINANCIAL in Crown Point, Indiana. I did a quick search on the Net and couldn’t find anything. It was a little strange as we are 1) in Canada and 2) we had never heard of the company and 3)the package looked like it was airtight. We did take it to the police here and they seemed generally apathetic about it but did take the package and said that they will be taking it to the level 4 biolab, that we have here in the city, for disposal. It’s probably nothing but I just wanted to know if anyone has heard of them.
Sounds like a financial statement. Does she have any investments? People are taking this Anthrax stuff way too personally. The level 4 biolab at your local police station is probably just the dumpster behind the building.

Which looks like a judgement in the case of Bluebonet Savings Bank vs. the US. Govt. The name “Beta Financial” and the word “Indiana” appear in the text, which is why it turned up during a search. I didn’t read through the whole thing to see how they are related.
It is not a financial statement. She has no investments with this company. Remember she is in Canada and has no investments outside of Canada.
They don’t have a listed phone number in Crown Point.
Also there is a level 4 biolab here in Winnipeg that has been taking suspicious packages and testing them for any biological contaminants.
