Has anyone here ever tried Cristal champagne?

There was a period in my life when I had the chance to sample many of the finer things in life. I adored Krug and found Dom Perignon to be almost on a par with Krug (my wife prefers Dom - I think itโ€™s called an irreconcilable difference :wink: ).

I found Cristal to be a fine Champagne, but for my palate it did not have the complexity or strength of flavour of a Krug or Dom. Perhaps a little too subtle. That may be a shortcoming in my palate rather than a fault in the Champagne.
