There have recently been a few computer related threads. I have read through them, as I am thinking of purchasing a computer once I get the money I loan the government interest free back (in other words, once I get my income tax refund*)
I have been looking geeks on time computers](http://www.gotcomputersusa.com/Skins/greyTech/greyTech_index.aspx[/url)
The prices seem reasonable, and I like the support they offer. I don’t really NEED nearly as much computer as I am likely to buy from the site, but I want to have a really nice computer I’d like to be able to play some graphic intensive games, something I have never really gotten into. I like the idea of a computer that is easily upgradeable, and I like having good support because I may want to add more bells and whistles latter and don’t want to void the warranty- their website contains the following info:
**
"For example, when you buy a system from Dell, HP/Compaq or Gateway, if you want to upgrade the machine after you buy it, take that old hard drive from an old machine and move it in as a 2nd drive, even upgrade the memory, you VOID the warranty! If you ask GeeksOnTime to do that for a GeeksOnTime computer, it does not.
As a service company, all our machines come with 1 year onsite warranty service (you can purchase more if you want) and WE perform that service. Plus, if the service for warranty support ends up being software related, we can perform that service right then and there at your option. With a Dell, Gateway or Compaq, you would have to start all over. Given these advantages, we can’t imagine why anyone would consider buying anywhere else."**
Has anyone ordered from this site, or used their services? Or does anyone have any other feedback? I’d like to have a DVD burner, play cool video games, and discover my repressed inner computer geek.
*(yes I realize that I could have less deducted from my check, but I like getting refund checks, as I am really bad about saving money for thing like this.)
