my little watch. I know it’s in the house somewhere, because I know I had it when I came that day. I usually put it with my keys, that way I know I’ll put it on the next day. But it wasn’t there the next day.
Two possibilities a) Smokey found it, knocked it to the floor, and chased it under some piece of furnature; b) it fell off the counter into a box, which has since been moved and piled with other boxes during my reorganization project, in which case I’ll never see it again.
I had to go out and buy another one, but I miss it. I know where to get another one just like it, but I won’t be at that location until April
I’ve lost my “lost list”. Yes, I lose things so damned often that I keep a list of all the stuff I need to keep an eye out for. And now I’ve lost the list. Oh, and my access to Siebel Answers.
I lost my glasses too. I tried to use them at work today, but they weren’t on my desk. I looked under the piles on my desk, looked in my desk, looked in my backpack, looked in the other drawers in my office/lab, looked in my backpack, looked all over the plant, looked in my coat pockets, looked in my backpack. The I decided I must’ve taken them home and decided to work without them. When I got home, I looked on the coffee table, looked on the end table, looked on the sofa table, looked on the dining room table, looked on the floor near said tables (the cat factor), looked in my backpack and EUREKA! Glasses! In my backpack!
I’m missing the second half of the RENT soundtrack, last seen in my car’s CD player. My dad is missing about $15 worth of quarters he was going to give me for Christmas, so I can’t do any more laundry without going to the bank first.
Did you stick the legs in one of the boxes? Maybe she’ll find them when she unpacks.
I lost lots of stuff when I moved. I’m still looking for my mom’s cookie recipe. Should’ve put it in a binder when I had the chance. :smack:
