I often see ads offering 12 bottles of wine for$70 total, many times as a Wall Street Journal club. One would think W S J would not put their name and rep on low quality stuff, but $6 a bottle seems almost too good to be true.
What has been your experience?
I am not a wine connoisseur but Trader Joe’s stores famously had “Two Buck Chuck”, which was bottles of Charles Shaw wine that sold for two dollars each and supposedly was quite good, or at least decent. So it’s entirely plausible for decent wine to be available for five dollars or so.
Sounds like a broad selection of low cost, medium quality wines. The $70 offer is just the introductory price, it goes up after that.
