I’ve only seen them at Wal*Mart
Yeah, ditto. I got mine from Wally World.
I’ll go futher and say they’re plain awful. But don’t despair! What you really want are these: Almond Joy Pieces. Contain actual coconut (and presumably almond, although I can’t taste it). Delicious.
Around here, QFC is the only store chain that sells them reliably, but you can find them online.
Yeah the coconut ones aren’t very good. They just have no taste. It’s like an M & M with no chocolate, just super sweetness.
My sister says it’s the wrong type of chocolate. WE buy chocolate covered pretzels all the time, but she hated the M&Ms. As for me, if sis doesn’t like 'em, and it’s made of chocolate, then I probably won’t either, and I don’t see wasting my dwindling cash reserves on it.
M&M’s releases a feature flavor about once a year. Past ones included strawberry and peanut butter, coconut, cherry, mint, raspberry, and caramel.
I switched to eating only good dark chocolate a few years ago. I know it’s supposed to be better for you but to me I find it more satisfying because it’s not overly sweet and I can taste the chocolate flavor…
Anyway, I once got some that had a tad of sea salt sprinkled on it. DEE—LISH!!!
Sorry, I don’t remember the brand–maybe Lindt. I have to see if I can find it again.
I got my bag in the mail yesterday from the Facebook promo. I love chocolate covered pretzels, but these were just meh. Was it the candy shell, the chocolate, the pretzel? I dunno, but I highly doubt I’ll buy more. (The Take 5 candy bar does rock!)
Got some today… meh. Too much sweet, not enough salty for me, but they’re OK.
I’m eating a brownie bite sprinkled with sea salt from Trader Joe’s as I type! (They’re packaged that way – little squares of brownie with flecks of sea salt on top sold in plastic container.) Like little bites of salty-sweet heaven.
I’ve gotta get me some of that Almond Joy candy.
