Has anyone upgraded to AOL 6.0?

I’ve upgraded to AOL 6.0. I’ve been pleased so far by a few nice additions. The most useful two being: A) Away notice for IMs, rather than just shutting them off, and B) Recently deleted mail (<24hrs.) is stored for later viewing, then deleted automatically.

I’m trying hard to switch my family over to Road Runner (cable modem) and drop AOL completely. It’s not the worst service out there, but a 56k connection and an ISP full of geezers and newbies isn’t that fun.

Well, if you are antsy about installing it, read the AOL newsgroups, there are hundreds of messages about it there.

I uninstalled 6.0 and went back to 5.0. It was running slower for me and I my buddy list disappeared as well as my ability to instant message. I’m back to 5.0 and I’ll keep that until some of the bugs are worked out.
