I once read in a book a decade ago, I think it was ‘2201 fascinating facts’ that the acupressure point for appetite is the vertical narrow channel underneath your earlobe. If you take yoru index and middle finger, press them into the channel and rub up and down there it will kill hunger pains if you are having them. I have tried this when I haven’t had a chance to eat all day (ie school days when I have a test so i’m at school from 8am to 8pm) and it kills them almost instantly.
Am I the only one who gets this effect and its just a placebo, or is there something to it and do other people get this too. Does anyone know why it’d work, is there a nerve that goes through that area that is getting compressed?
I suppose its similiar to rubbing your temples to paralyze yoru gag reflex, maybe there is a nerve going through that area that you are affecting. If so maybe there is an entire eastern medical practice of face touching acupressure, sounds interesting.
