Has there ever been a rock re-make of "Sing, Sing, Sing"?

Circa 1954 version.

Watching this I’m wondering if anyone ever tried to pull it off with a rock style. I’m thinking about firing up the amp, plugging in the Strat and trying to jam along!

No,… to much beer in me :frowning:

Good thinking! The popularity of Gene Krupa thumping out that ferocious rhythm in 1938 was probably the earliest harbinger of something really new on the musical horizon. The song itself was by Louis Prima, who in the 1950s started fusing jazz and rock as soon as rock existed. So yeah. I’ve long thought what you’re thinking.

Zarif was way ahead of us in “Box of Secrets”—a new song built directly on the S.S.S. template

I know you were drinking when you asked this, but of course, check wikipedia or youtube…

Sad to say that the only version of this I even know of is Michael Bublé’s Spider-Man theme song.
