You just got finished telling us why his petty public squabbles are a deliberate strategy to “play to his supporters” and keep “the opposition from gaining the upper hand”, and now you’re suggesting it would have been “better” for him to do something else?
If Trump supporters don’t like crassness, vulgarity and pussy talk, they made a pretty poor choice of candidate.
Truly he is a God among men, lacking any of the personal flaws that plague other humans. No vanity, no pride, nothing but humility and the milk of human kindness.
Many people are saying that Trump was the first man to walk on the moon.
The point is that he consistently comes across as someone strongly affected by what people think “in the context of hurt feelings or personal offense or a desire for approval”. Anybody who judges his motivations based on his behavior patterns would naturally infer that he’s childishly vain and thin-skinned.
You, on the other hand, appear to have decided, based on the fact that Trump isn’t uniformly stupid and won a Presidential election, that he can’t really be childishly vain and thin-skinned. He must be merely assuming that unimpressive persona for some unfathomable strategic purpose.
What I can’t figure out is, if you are so convinced that Trump’s petty huffing and flouncing are just an act in service of some brilliant strategy, why do you keep undermining that strategy by repeatedly assuring us that the petty huffing and flouncing are all an act?

Fortunately his behavior was spoken in private and once it became public it inspired people not to adopt it, while lefties on the other hand are screeching in public about pussy pleasure and sending their children out to hold up signs saying “FUCK TRUMP”.
What is it with lefties and nasty public behavior anyway? They’re all about crude, vulgar language in music and movies and public utterances, and if you want to piss in public, or have naked bicycle parades, (San Fran both) or stalk around in the nude (legal in NYC) or otherwise bring us one more step closer to living like animals, liberals seem to be all for it. And of course fifty years of liberalism has resulted in a populace that dresses like shit, looks like shit, talks like shit and acts like shit. Why is that, one wonders? For a less snarky response, Starving Artist, I’m continually mystified by your criticism of the present. In the 50s, I’d be arrested because I was married to the wrong race. That seems, literally, infinitely worse than anything negative you described in that post. And that was just a small part of the bad parts about America before the 60s. There are problems today, but the ones you describe are just so pathetic (seriously? public crassness?) compared to the problems (dude, I’D HAVE BEEN ARRESTED FOR FUCKING BEING WITH THE GODDAMN LOVE OF MY LIFE!) from back then.

The difference, as I alluded to just above, is how when such behavior takes place. Trump said what he said in private and it was never intended for the public. It’s hilarious to me to see people on the left whinging about Trump’s vulgarity when they are directly responsible for the fact that we now have utter (and misogynistic, but that doesn’t count because race) filth in music and on tv and in the movies, and magazines like Cosmopolitan on display proudly proclaiming for all to see how to best give blow jobs.
