I can’t understand his attitude either. He is Christian, and apparently he is that scared of homosexuality. You know, they have that Homosexual Agenda. :rolleyes:
Slightly off topic, did anyone else see that Daily Show where they reported on the Homosexual agenda, which they had aquired from Homosexual headquarters. Included in it was brainwashing children via the teletubbies.
Also I’ve always been curious about what happens if someone is both Jewish and Gay. Do they have to select which world dominating conspiracy they’re in or are they allowed to be in both? 
There’s always some discrimination. And the excuses will always be the same.
I hope that gays will not get mass murdered (understatement-much? => ). I don’t think they will, even with all the parallels between Hitler and today’s Christian Fundemantalists. Call me an idealist, but I don’t think many people, gay or not, would take it lying down.
I consulted my Jewish lesbian friend Elizabeth on this one. She says that it’s an even more elite clique. The heads of both empires, as it were.

I dated a guy for a while whose mother was involved in some kind of weird born-again religion. During a long nighttime conversation, she revealed to me that she had proof that all major civilizations have been destroyed by homosexuals. To top that off, she told me that homosexuals invented the credit card to keep people in debt and ultimately destroy society.
I asked her to show me some documentation for those claims (obviously I was preparing for a future life on this message board!) and she said she had it, but she never did show me any written proof. Surprise, surprise.
But isn’t it scary that even a small group of people would believe something like that?
She also believed that her daughter’s epilepsy was caused by “devil spirits.”
Funny thing is, you wouldn’t know what a freak she was till you started really talking to her.
One particularly vicious bigot–in whom the parallel between Hitler and the Jews seems pretty discernible–is Bob Enyart.
He has a whole page of quotes on homosexuals, which includes the following:
“Homos do not deserve equal rights. The only rights homos should have is the right to a fair and speedy trial.”
(Actually, he says this three different times. A model of coherent thought he ain’t.)

This is not to say that he has any mass following–any fool can put up a website or three; he used to have a radio show of some sort, but I think he had to fold it–but a genuinely scary man, nonetheless.
I’m humbled, and don’t think the idea hasn’t crossed my mind.

Careful - Germany thought itself fairly enlightened at the time, and Hitler still managed to wrest control and take the nation to its horrible heights. I think the improvements of communication (not to mention that whole freedom of speech thing) are what keeps things at status quo today. People can be herded like sheep - under the right circumstances.

I don’t think that home schooling is the best answer. A strong parent has the greatest influence on his/her children.
I don’t think he is scared of homosexuality, I think he just wants to follow the laws of GOD.
Are you serious, Jersey or being caustic? (Sorry, I’m clueless- sometimes I just can’t tell.) But judging from your last post, I wasn’t sure…

Zev Steinhardt, I don’t think that public schools should push any beliefs onto young and impressionable children.
I think that it is the parents responsibility to show their children what they believe is right.
No matter what you believe Zev, I would still be-friend you, and I would not try to push my beliefs on you. 
I simply do not like the idea of a school teaching what is and isn’t acceptable in regards to religion.
OK. So, if the public schools say that my lifestyle (as an Orthodox Jew) is acceptable, why does that scare you? Should they only teach a Christian lifestyle as an acceptable one?
