Have high level liberal operatives infiltrated the right-wing message machine? NSFW

Jesus, 75% of the country uses the internet? That’s huge. Short of watching TV or, maybe, breathing oxygen, is there anything that more than three quarters of the population does?

Bad enough that people drive big vehicles with “HUMMER” written across the front.

If my 60-year-old mother knows what it means, (and got REALLY offended when I asked her just now), then it’s definitely hit the mainstream.

And my mother only uses the 'net to check her e-mail, or to check her library books.

Not sure what made me think of this, but have you heard of the Abstinence 'till Marriage movement, or ATM? They’re promoting ATM education among teenagers to prevent teen pregnancy. I have to admit, it works.

ATM Education

Well, there’s also the fact that (as far as I can tell), Justin_Bailey’s cite is based on the total population, but based on the 2000 census, about 14% of the U.S. population is under the age of 10, so not likely to be online quite as much, and hopefully not on sites that discuss teabagging. This site has statistics about internet usage among U.S. adults, broken down into different demographics. Among people ages 18-42, internet usage is at about 90%.

Offended because of what teabagging means, offended because she thought YOU had to ask her what it meant, offended because she was embarrassed that she knew, or offended because you even had to ask if she knew what it meant?

Ok now, that is funny. I do agree that it likely prevent pregnancy though.

Offended because she knows what it meant and thought I was being vulgar. No embarassment so much as, “Why must you always be so crude?”

I had to google to learn the definition of space-docking and spider-man.

I found the definition of ‘spider man’ hilarious. Space-docking, not so much…

Even my sweet old mum knows what teabagging is. Wasn’t it also mentioned in a South Park episode?

Ah, got it. Ha!

First … everyone knows what Teabagging is.

Second … I was flipping through AM radio this morning, and actually heard a right-winger ranting about the very question in the OP. I think it may have even been Beck. They were discussing how the evil liberals were coming to the 9/12 parties and shouting out over-the-top stupid shit (I know! I know!). They had recording of some hip young lady yapping about burning books in the hopes that *she *would be the story the media could run with (I’m sure the media were in on it too!). In fairness, I think they did catch a plant. When she said “rock on man!” she kind of blew her I’m-a-fundie-nutjob cred. So I think the answer to the OP might in fact be Yes. It was still a lot of fun hearing Beck try to distance himself from The Crazy at those parties. I saw footage from one last week where person after person confirmed that Obama is not a citizen. Why bother to plant people when they’re already at that level on their own?

While no doubt there are going to be some left wingers at these shindigs (hell, it briefly crossed my mind to go to one of the silly “We Surround Them” gatherings, until I realized that I would rather not be in an FBI/Secret Service database with right-wing loonies), I believe they really want to put the meme out there so that if any of their own acts up or acts crazy or says dangerous shit they can blame it on the lefties.

Yeah, after I posted that (but it was too late to edit), I thought I should have said it was more of a “we are not amused” attitude-only a little pissier. (She also gets annoyed because “I swear too much.”)

If I ever get around to writing a novel, I’m definitely calling it The Brainwash Book.

As someone who doesn’t play Halo 3, what is “teabagging” in that context?

-Joe, traditional teabagger

There is a ‘crouch’ movement in Halo, designed to get you under cover. Crouching (repeatedly) over your fallen foe’s head is Halo teabagging.

In City of Heroes, the teabag emote produces a cup of tea and a bag which the character dips in, gently. Very suave!

I haven’t looked at the personal ads in a newspaper in quite a long time but M4M seems to have made it to Craig’s List just fine.

Sorry for the crosspost (I just posted this in my MPSIMS thread) but it’s worth repeating.

Hat made of teabags + rainy day = not a good idea

Scroll down for another pic of her. I learned something else interesting in that thread.

I just started checking out Tea Tantrum stories and I’m already having a ball, but damn, I have to go to work and won’t be home until late. I’ll be itching to get back home to continue on.

Here are a couple of clips. Susan Roesgen of CNN seems out of place. You don’t confront people with the truth when they’re content on being ignorant idiots.

“Why is he a fascist?” “Because he is” laugh “Because Hannity told me so!”

“What does this have to do with taxes?” “blah blah blah” (the title is wrong though, she’s not being roughed up)
