I don’t agree with everything mswas is saying in this thread. For example, although I agree there’s a connection between the Bush and Saud dynasties and probably a conspiracy between them to boot, but in general I think power tends to work in an organic fashion, like kudzu, and it isn’t necessary for all in power to conspire in order to perpetuate the system. Contrariwise, there is no central authority to address in order to correct the system, either.
His observation, however, that we are now in a world feudal system is quite sharp and astute. Instead of feuds of land, we have feuds of influence and capital.
The rest of what he’s saying both in this thread and the one in GD is a mix of humor, fantasy, and solid (earthen/airy/fiery/watery) New Age thinking. The “joke” is on a lot of people here, not only because they are not getting the literal jokes in the threads but because they are incapable of not tripping over their twisted panties when trying to approach mswas’s multifaceted/contingent/quantum/ambivalent (cat dead/undead per Schrodinger) thinking with mechanistic/Newtonian approaches.

Um, no. He is approaching That Which Is with specific metaphors with a view to not only furthering his/others’ understanding but also effect positive change.
Is the metaphor real/unreal? It’s both. In real (unreal!) estate I depend on maps a lot to understand the area. They are extremely, almost perfectly, effective in getting me where I need to go. But they are just lines on paper–metaphor.
For that matter, everything in our heads is merely our image of That Which Is. Not the thing itself. But it is also part of That Which Is. We know/don’t know what is, are are alientated/a part of what is.
But don’t think this means “anything goes.” There are bad metaphors, just as there are bad maps. The fundamental principles of pattern/number/logic can never be broker. What mwas is saying here is perfectly open to criticism, but most of you are trying to dismantle the machine of his thought with a butter knife. It would be funny if it weren’t so pathetic.
I agree with everything you posted here except that I don’t think we are in disagreement here, because I do not think that all parts of the power structure are in collusion, and that even within factions there are power struggles. The problem with the word “conspiracy” is that it implies evil intent. So oftentimes when talking about a vast plan that affects everyone on Earth, people scoff and use the word “conspiracy” as though that nullifies the argument being made. I do not think either Bush is evil, but they are in fact part of a larger plan to exert influence over aspects of the world. Even between Father and Son there isn’t 100% collusion, as they have their own power struggles between them, and will have rough patches with the Saudis even though Barbara Bush calls Bandar al Saud, Bandar Bush. It’s the old standard feudal game, it never went away, and it won’t unless we evolve into some other type of being that would be unrecognizable to us in our current state.
When I argue on these message boards I am not arguing from the perspective of what IS right and what IS wrong, but as though we are in parliament deciding what the truth actually is, which will eventually be consensed upon.
Now there are deeper levels that I don’t even bother to address on these boards as it is very rare that we get to go to those deeper levels as the arguments are generally semantic arguments where we argue about which metaphors we are allowed to use and which ones we are not, rather than simply accepting the metaphors that are being used, and delving deeper. There seems to be an issue with accepting people’s metaphors as though somehow one will be converted by playing along, much as with your Dark Christ thread.
Now, I believe that things are consensed upon but that doesn’t mean that anything goes, far from it. Reality is determined by our inter-subjective consciousness, and what we see is not ‘objective’ reality, but a conglomeration of that intersubjectivity. The “Objective” reality is more the reality that is a set of rules and principles and not the perception of it. Kind of like a computer system, the object is the computer itself, but what we see projected on our computer screen is the output of the manner in which we have chosen to use that system. So we delve more deeply. Most people simply use the applications in their consciousness, they are content to use Photoshop, and Word, and play Doom once in a while. Many people don’t even understand basic file structure, let alone what it means to edit the registry or have root access. However, there are levels below even root access, this is where we get into the kernel. The kernel is what helps us maintain a certain level of stability, the kernel is where the rules that we have deemed laws are stored. It is much more difficult to edit this part of the system as one needs a greater level of access, their permissions have to be set by the administrators(Angels) who are acting on behalf of the users(people) that keep the system running in a form that has some consistency and won’t be suddenly changed up on everyone. This is how the universe can be objective/subjective at the same time. The object is the existence at all, and the intersubjective is how we communally manipulate the object and change it’s form.
A Christ has root access, prayers are like e-mails to the sys-admin. Your experience here on Earth should be to your benefit in some way. That is why you were given Free-Will, or else will that you did not have to earn. The greater responsibility that one is proven to be capable of handling the greater the amount of will bestowed upon them, but the initial will, is bestowed freely as a necessary component of existance.

Don’t know if you agree about this or not–I’ve debated it with many on the board. But the most fundamental rules of pattern/number/logic are not “set” by anyone, are not arbitrary, but are in fact the foundation of Reality itself. For example, 2 + 2 = 4 is true in all possible universes (that is just our human/brain way of saying it, but it is a universal truth).
Above that, it is exactly as you say: More and more arbitrariness, with much decided consensually.
Your Christ/admin prayer/e-mail metaphor was excellent.

I disagree with the term “Universes” I disagree with the idea of other Universes. There is only one universe, and multiverse is a subset of the universe. There are multiple systems that exist within this universe, but I don’t believe in multiple “universes”. All that exists exists within this UNIverse. The single word. Sure there are Multi verses, but they are subdivisions of the universe, and not multiplications of it. The universe is the unity of all verses. It’s every song ever written, every formula ever deduced, every rock, star, person, thought, process, and possibility. However, there quite possibly are different pockets of space-time that have their own unique flavor and character, but I do not believe they exist outside of the universe. Would our mathematical system work for describing another piece of space-time? I couldn’t say for sure, but if it can’t then we probably aren’t going to be going there to find out. I’d say that those mathematics are the basis for all of OUR maps, not necessarily the basis for all of existance, but they might be.
