I bought a floor lamp off eBay; the seller said it was a Stiffel. Got the lamp yesterday and proceeded to put it together. Well, the base of the lamp has a few scrape marks on it, which I was going to overlook because I like the lamp so much, but then I noticed two bad dents in the base. I then noticed the “made in China” label on the bottom of the base. I don’t want to assume that anything made in China is cheesy, but it’s possible the lamp is a knockoff. I’ve already sent a message to the seller about the dents and scrapes. Any idea where Stiffel lamps are made?
